Everything is delicious, or is it?

Holy teething Batman!  Jamie calls her hungry hungry Riley (hungry hungry hippo). It has certainly become her main focus…

We are going to the store today to get different teething toys.  Her favorite things to bite are her crate, her dog bed, unfortunately a corner of a wall.

We are planning on going out and picking up that bitter spray today as well, in addition to maybe another gated or playpen area, depending on what we find.  Speaking of gates, we had a wooden gate we had got from Target which she really didn’t care about until Tuesday of this week and then it turned into her favorite chewing item!  She started gnawing on this one spot.  It’s hard to see in the picture..

I was really afraid she would swallow splinters, and luckily our new gate I had ordered online had arrived on my front steps, as I was trying to figure out what to do with the wooden gate!  The new gate has a metal frame, so it won’t splinter- it fits a door frame between 26″-44″ and is 24″ tall, the brand name is Regalo and we ordered a couple from Amazon.com

I started this post in the morning, before we had gone to the store and picked up the bitter spray.  It totally worked!! She is no longer biting the corner of the wall and instead is playing with her toys!  Hooray!  Thank you Grannick’s Bitter Apple Spray!

Moving on from the biting, Riley’s back legs are definitely getting stronger!  She is running now and walking/running a little further each day!  When she gets tired she just stops and sits haha, it’s very cute.  She has also mastered the curb that we encounter on our little walk!  When she first discovered she could jump up and down off the curb she did it about 8 times, and then by the time I got out my phone to video, she wasn’t really interested anymore.

I also think it may be soon for a little tiny haircut, just in front of her eyes… don’t want her crashing into anything because she can’t see!
